This was a comprehensive didactic TED course hosted by ITEDS and IRAVO. The program included multidicsciplinary knowledge transfer, recent research and updates. Exciting sections of Case Discussion and ITEDS Grand Round included carefully selected cases discussed by experts in the field, to promote higher levels of knowledge transfer, clinical decision making. This program provided an opportunity for to exchange ideas and knowledge between experts among speakers and attendees.

Technical, therapeutic and translational updates in TED – East Meets West

The 6th ITEDS International Symposium was originally planned for 2022 but was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now planned for 6th June, 2024 in Florianópolos, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The one-day TED meeting will be at the ocean-front Costão do Santinho Resort Hotel followed by two days of the National Brazilian Oculoplastic Congress.

Following the ITEDS meeting in Vancouver in June 2013, to which a number of members of EUGOGO had been invited, there was a meeting of 9 members from the executive committees of both organisations.
